You’ll love our accommodations at the Saratoga Downtowner.
Our building was constructed in 1963 as a seasonal place until a retractable roof was added over the courtyard and pool in the late 70’s, and it was transformed into a year-round lodging facility.
We’re sure you’ll rest well in the comfortable surroundings, right in the center of Saratoga Springs. Our rooms are comfortable and clean because we take pride in such things. Each room includes cable TV, a full bath and has individually controlled heat and A/C. The majority of our rooms have direct access to the courtyard where the pool is centrally located in the building. Wireless internet makes for easy connectivity when on the road and we are glad to offer it.
Let us help you find your way around Saratoga Springs, whether visiting the Thoroughbred Race Track, seeing the ballet at SPAC or playing a round of golf at one of our many golf courses, including Saratoga National Golf Club.

Welcoming and interesting staff. Lots of nice touches, like the real flowers on the balconies. Great location downtown. Not fancy but has character.Reviewed July 2015 at Booking.com
This place is a no frills motel, but I loved staying there. I found the retro accommodations charming, not disappointing. The best part of this motel is the location. It is in the middle of downtown – a stone’s throw to great shops, restaurants and the darling park with the carousel. Keep an open mind, a good sense of humor and enjoy this gem!Reviewed August 2015 at TripAdvisor
Great central location, this motel is walking distance to everything in downtown Saratoga. The plantings outside are filled with beautiful flowers, and the inside common area atrium has tables and chairs near the indoor pool to enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning. The Downtowner was full when we stayed on a Saturday night, but it wasn’t noisy at all. Some rooms face Broadway, Saratoga’s main street. Ours had a less busy street view and also faced the atrium. Free parking and free breakfast too. All around a great place to stay and reasonable in a pricey town.Reviewed July 2015 at Booking.com
Can’t beat the location! In the heart of downtown – it’s where you want to be.Reviewed July 2015 at Booking.com
Let’s start with the location, could not be in a better spot, everything is within walking distance. Next, the staff. I can tell you everyone wants to help, personable and professional. Everyone takes pride in making sure you enjoy your stay.Reviewed December 2014 at TripAdvisor
My main concern with a motel is cleanliness. The Downtowner more than met my expectations. I didn’t mind that it’s a little older. It’s clean. The location is the best in town. It’s very near all the restaurants and shops. You really don’t need a car at all.Reviewed November 2014 at TripAdvisor
My friend and I stayed for a couple nights this month. Honestly this hotel is dead center of downtown Saratoga Springs. So everything is within walking distance. Shopping, restaurants, cafes, movies…. everything is close. I didn’t use my car the entire 2 days of of our stay.Reviewed September 2014 at TripAdvisor
